As a rewarding career path or as a passionate hobby, projects like this can help the Juniors identify their own interest on aviation. Unlike transport aviation, air-sports are based on fun flying, technical skills and experimental instincts. In the course of this journey the program helps to reinforce the value and zest for learning that will serve throughout their lives; so is our objective.
Away from regular classrooms and textbooks, in a beautiful city like Pokhara, Juniors will start their journey. School teacher will accompany each group and there will be one liaison officer throughout the program. We suggest all to check with school administration for our pre-event interaction program. One of the main attractions of this program is an experience flight on Ultra-light and Para gliders. This first flight of its kind would both be exciting and memorable. We are definite about it!Beside that, each day with different activities hiking, weather study classes, camping, boating, gliding, orientation, airfield visit, fun-filled games, aviation movies and many more shall keep Juniors on their toes.
To begin this exciting venture, we would like to request all the schools, teachers, parents and of course the future aviators to join hands with us for the better aviation future
so... lets take off

On 17th December 2003
Flying Juniors Program was held to celebrate the 100 years of Anniversary of Wright Brothers Flying History. Two schools took part from Kathmandu and the SOS village of Pokhara actively took part in this program. Seeing the school and students enthusiasm we plan to make this program a yearly event. This event provided lots of knowledge on aviation history;career evelopment, facts etc. and the students were able to experience their flight on Paragliding and Ultra Light Aircraft, and the Pilot of Hot Balloon gave briefing to the students on the field with the baskets and the other equipments. |
